We're celebrating a milestone moment for My Fairy GodParents (MFGP). In just four days, our first-ever Double Good fundraiser raised $599 in popcorn sales. This surpassed our initial $500 goal and proves the power of community-driven giving.
This fundraiser complemented our ongoing GoFundMe campaign, allowing donors to support our mission while receiving gourmet popcorn as an immediate reward. The idea was inspired by April, my college sister and member of Queen Esther Chapter No. 1 OES, PHA~DC, who successfully led her own Double Good fundraiser and more than doubled her goal — raising $1,311 for scholarships.

While this short but impactful campaign was a major success, our fundraising isn't over — we're still working hard to fund our participation in the International Coalition for Children with Incarcerated Parents (INCCIP) 2025 Conference in Seoul from July 1–4, where we'll lead a workshop amplifying justice-impacted voices.
