Anyé Young

Anyé Young serves as the Youth Coordinator for MyFairyGodParents.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted youth and their families. Inspired by her personal experiences, Anyé is a passionate advocate for children with incarcerated parents. She is the author of the book “Teen Guide to Living With Incarcerated Parents,” which provides valuable insights and guidance for teens navigating the challenges of having a parent in prison.

In her role as Youth Coordinator, Anyé brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the issues faced by justice-impacted youth. She is actively involved in developing and implementing programs that provide mentorship, educational resources, and emotional support to young people affected by incarceration. LaDàna Young is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of MyFairyGodParents.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted youth and their families. Inspired by her daughter Anyé Young’s book, “Teen Guide to Living with Incarcerated Parents,” LaDàna has been a driving force in raising awareness and providing essential resources for youth affected by incarceration. Her commitment to empowering young people and creating positive change is evident through her leadership and the impactful initiatives she spearheads, including the documentary film series #FKLMdoc (For Kids Like Me).

In addition to her work with My Fairy GodParents (MFGP), LaDàna is the Principal Consultant at Above Prestige Public Relations.
