LaDàna Young is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of MyFairyGodParents.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted youth and their families. Inspired by her daughter Anyé Young’s book, “Teen Guide to Living with Incarcerated Parents,” LaDàna has been a driving force in raising awareness and providing essential resources for youth affected by incarceration. Her commitment to empowering young people and creating positive change is evident through her leadership and the impactful initiatives she spearheads, including the documentary film series #FKLMdoc (For Kids Like Me).

In addition to her work with My Fairy GodParents (MFGP), LaDàna is the Principal Consultant at Above Prestige Public Relations. With a background in strategic communication, project management, and client-facing roles, she has successfully led numerous high-profile campaigns and projects. Her expertise in public relations has helped organizations enhance their brand visibility, manage their reputations, and effectively communicate their messages to diverse audiences.
