The Crafters Workshop is a multi-disciplinary, multicultural initiative designed to provide a creative and supportive environment for at-risk youth, particularly those with incarcerated parents. This program offers artistic workshops, cultural programs, emotional support, and community engagement activities to help youth express themselves, build confidence, and connect with their community. The “#FKLMdoc” documentary film series, titled “For Kids Like Me,” focuses on the experiences of justice-impacted youth, especially those with incarcerated parents. Inspired by Anyé Young’s book “Teen Guide to Living With Incarcerated Parents,” this project aims to raise awareness, foster understanding, and advocate for policy reforms through powerful storytelling and community engagement.
